Two and A Half

Dear Grayson,

Happy Half Birthday my sweet baby boy, who obviously has not a trace of baby left in you. How did that happen? Well, you may not be a baby anymore, but you sure are a handsome little boy.

You are sweet, silly, and love to laugh.

Your favorites are going to school, riding on the elevator, driving your car, swinging, and of course, your beloved Veggie Tales.

You adore your teachers, grandparents, and your mommy and daddy.

And soon I know you will adore your baby sister too.

You are my joy, my whole heart, and my sunshine.

You are my teacher. You have taught me what is truly important, and to not take life for granted.

I am a better person, and a mommy, because of you. Thank you, G-Monster.

I love you more than you could ever know.

Love,
Mommy

  1. He's so cute. They both are.I'm sorry I haven't been commenting much lately … but I've been reading. I'm glad everything is so good with the baby, and that you seem to be coping well with everything else.

  2. So cute!! Happy half-birthday, Grayson! Isn't it funny how the first kid suddenly seems so GROWN when the new one arrives? But I assure you, I still see some baby there…if I look hard enough, I can still catch a glimpse or two of baby in my almost 11 year old! But man, is it fleeting. 🙂

  3. He's flat out adorable!!! Paisley is 2.5 now too which means they have birthdays close together. Hers is August 21st but I can't remember when Grayson's is. Hope you all are doing well. 🙂

  4. Did he get a haircut recently? (It looks like it) My oldest always looks so much older after he's had a haircut. E has yet to have one, at least in part because I know he won't look like my baby anymore. Happy half-birthday, G!

  5. What fantastic pictures! And I looooove that you got a shirt that says 2 1/2. Adorable! So glad he loves his new car to drive, love that smile! What a gem and he has taught me so much about life too! Xoxo-

  6. Oh my goodness… these latest pictures, melt my heart! You're right– we don't have babies anymore. We have little boys, and yours, my friend, is unbelievably handsome!!Happy 2 1/2 G!!
